Jet Carrying US Defense Secretary Forced to Land in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

A plane ferrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the jet's front window, as stated by an announcement which stated that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft touched down following established safety measures and everyone onboard, among them Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer commented in a online announcement.

He was traveling back from a brief trip to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.

This event isn't the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet transporting a high-ranking official has experienced technical problems.

Months ago, a American military jet transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was required to return to Washington DC after experiencing a mechanical problem.
