Keeper
Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers were close to being trailing by six at Bournemouth but for him. Crucial performance, rose to the occasion and displayed some quality. Excellent keeping to help achieve a 2-2 draw. Losing could have dismantled their entire term.
Defensive unit
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's up there for season's best. Fans mention about Arsenal players. He's been the best performer without doubt.
Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a crazy Forest fan to say 'He scores and we overcome Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got huge prices on that. He was excellent. He is emerging as a dominant figure. He is truly a tough opponent. I'm happy to watch him perform similar to before.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I observed him a few times last year in Italy for AC Milan and he struggled due to errors. However with the Magpies he's been a monster. He's been great strength and imposing and seems polished. It seems he's found a spiritual home.
Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not naturally a left-back, rather a contemporary style going forward. He is a wonderful signing for Brighton. Few are astonished at them discovering another star out of nowhere? I thought when they got rid of Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but Brighton know what they're doing.
Central players
Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Alike in style and they make it for the identical cause. Their clubs triumphed, many mention the scorers, but lacking these players those teams don't click. They excel. They disrupt opposition, they join the offense.
Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The man of the moment. Many Arsenal fans, including my son, had doubts about his ability as the man to get them over the top. Three goals in the north London derby and supporters now wish to make a statue of him. Goals, composure, he dominated. The standout individual on the pitch.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Maybe this is point of agreement with Thomas Tuchel on - he has reached a point now where it will prove quite challenging to drop Morgan Rogers. I felt he had a great start the term, I think he seemed somewhat presumptuous and believed he could join to Chelsea, and perhaps aimed for that, but he seems to have adapted well. Two superb finishes clearly versus Leeds pulled his side when trailing. He was the difference maker.
Attackers
Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he appeared not his usual standard. It seemed he'd lost a yard. However, incredible. Simply phenomenal. He shone. Outstanding in his movement and with his two finishes.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He performs strongly, usually better when introduced, but with Gordon sidelined so he must start. He squandered a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. Yet possessing the mental fortitude to put himself in difficult situations and get a brace was impressive.
Boss
Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and beats Arne Slot. A excellent strategy. It could have been five or six for Forest and nobody could have argued.
